Chapter 3: Will Stutely Is Rescued
April 10, 2010
Summary: The sheriff had failed to stop Robin and his band many times before so he sent out three hundred men into the forest to catch them. But they dressed in friar’s robes and covered their faces. Then when the sheriff’s men came to find them they pasted right by them but they caught a member of the ban Will Stutely and were going to hang him the next day. So Robin Hood swore he wouldn’t be hung tomorrow and Robin and his men snuck into the town as the sheriff blew a bugle saying that Stutely’s hanging was about to occur. So right before Little John knocked a sheriff’s man off his own horse and cut Will’s binds. Then took the sheriff’s sword and gave it to Will and then fled back to forest together. The Sheriff was so angry after failing to stop Robin’s band he hid and wouldn’t talk to anyone for many days.
