Summary: After almost a year of relaxing and feasting and stealing here and there Robin grew bored. so one day he was walking down a byway and met a butcher which he paid handsomely for everything he had. Then set-up the small butcher shop in the middle of town and sold all the meat for low prices. Then befriended the sheriff and told him that he would offer him three hundred gold and silver for all of the horned beasts Robin said had. So road out to the king’s deer and tricked the sheriff they were his then the sheriff was leaving he and his men that he called took the sheriff to have a feast while taunted him. Then they took his purse of three hundred pounds of gold and sent him off. 

The Main Character is the Sheriff of Nottingham: This character is developed as he gullibly believes that the butcher (Robin) has hundreds of horned beasts just because he's a good sales man and then lets Robin lead him into a trap and lets Robin steal his money. 

Setting: Nottingham and Sherwood Forest 

Quote: the following quote "The Sheriff's eye's actually twinkled greedily" This shows that the sheriff is a self-centered, greedy man and is gullible enough to perfectly fit into Robin's plans.
