Chapter 12: Robin Shoots His Last Arrow

Summary: For many years everyone stayed in the king’s service except Little John and Will Scarlet who returned home. After many long years Robin returned home after King Richard died with the new kings approval to quickly visit home. So he returned to the Sherwood forest and blew his bugle horn three times and everyone came back to the great oak tree were they swore to never go again and feast and live Sherwood forest. Which the king angry but they the rest of their days merrily in the woods. Until one day a fever seized Robin Hood and his wicked nurse prepared to slightly bleed him to relieve but instead hit an artery and as he was dying Little John gave him his bow and golden arrow which he shot and told them to bury him were it landed. They did so and his spirit of adventure lives for ever.
Main Character: Robin Hood: This character changes a lot through this chapter for he starts as a rebel against the new king and then lives the rest of his life in Sherwood then passes through his journey from life to death.
