Chapter 11: King Richard Comes to Sherwood Forest

Summary: King Henry dies and good King Richard takes the throne. Robin passes by a fierce-looking and says Hello friend, the stranger gets mad and says he is Guy of Gisbourne the mass murdered coming to take Robin Hood into custody. Robin Hood challenges the stranger to the shooting contest and wins. Then deflects Guy of Gisbourne’s sword and kills him. Then King Richard comes to town and through Robin Hood’s territory so robin makes him pay thinking he’s a friar and invites him to feast with them then they a shooting contest Robin misses because of a torn feather. Then king Richard fights him for the prize and shows he’s King Richard so they bow to him and go into his service as honour guards.
Main Character: King Richard: This character progesses in the way that he just wants to pass through and give Robin some gold to get through but instead ends up feasting with Robin and Robin becomes his right hand king's men.
Quote Definition: "I have heard you pledge your life to me," This Quote shows that King Richard is trusts Robin and is very much worth working for. This is important because robin spends most of his life working for King Richard.
